Former Disney executive Dave Hollis, who was also Rachel Hollis' ex-husband and the author of "Girl, Wash Your Face," has away at the age of 47.
According to "Variety," on February 11, he passed away at home in Austin, Texas, after recently been admitted to the hospital for heart-related health difficulties.
Jackson, Sawyer, Ford, and Noah Hollis, who would have been 48 on February 14, are Dave Hollis' four surviving children. On Tuesday, February 14, his ex-wife wrote on Instagram to request prayers.

Dave Hollis, a former Disney executive and the author of "Girl, Wash Your Face," passed suddenly at the age of 47. He was also Rachel Hollis' ex-husband.
According to "Variety," he was recently hospitalized for heart-related health issues and died on February 11 at home in Austin, Texas.
Dave Hollis' four surviving children are Jackson, Sawyer, Ford, and Noah Hollis, who would have turned 48 on February 14. His ex-wife posted a prayer request on Instagram on Tuesday, February 14.
In 2015, ex-wife Rachel Hollis became famous online after posting a bikini photo in which she openly displayed stretch scars from her pregnancies. The pair also became well-known online for their inspiring podcast and retreats for couples. "The Hollis Company" was started by them both.
"Our marriage has been a victory in so many ways, but it has reached its end," Dave Hollis wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post at the time. Rae and I still love and deeply respect each other as friends, co-parents, and business partners, but we have come to the conclusion that the best way to ensure the success of each of those in the future is to end our marriage while the possibility of a beautiful, unconventional new family, friendship, and partnership still exists as a real and hopeful option."
Following their breakup, Dave Hollis started his own podcast called "Rise Together" and wrote two self-help books called "Get Out of Your Own Way: A Skeptic's Guide to Growth and Fulfillment" and "Built Through Courage: Face Your Fears to Live the Life You Were Meant For."
He published "Here's to Your Dreams! : A Teatime with Noah Book," a children's picture book, in 2022.
